The mac is about as vanilla as I can imagine but with Jobs promoting them they won the fight and the mainstream retail Amiga died in the mid 90s (at least in the US). Perhaps we would have PCs and Amigas rather than PCs and Macs. I have been fooling around with Sheepshaver and other Mac emualators for kicks the past couple of days and when I boot a mac II and or a Mac G4, I wonder what would have happened if Steve Jobs ran Commodore.
